According to economist Gary Hufbauer, Americans are missing out on $4.3 billion in annual merchandise exports due to the embargo. China, meanwhile, tops the ranks of Cuba’s imports, accounting for $1.1 billion annually, followed closely by Spain. Cuba needs a new benefactor.
